Serve as an Associate Director, Volunteer Board Director, or Committee Member.

CANDIDATE APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2025

The three-year term of two (2) GPOFCU Board seats expires on March 12, 2026. Any member in good standing is eligible to apply as a candidate. Minimum experience of one year on a GPOFCU Committee and/or commensurate financial, legal, information technology, human resources, or board experience is needed. GPOFCU directors are expected to demonstrate an ability to deal with business, financial, and social issues at a national level and bring a broad range of knowledge and experience from their chosen business/profession. Directors will possess a commitment to GPOFCU's principles and values and the members and communities it serves and acts at all times in the credit union's best interest.

You are also invited to apply to be an Associate Director with many of the perks and privileges that are allotted to full Directors. That application may be obtained from the Credit Union (CU) and returned by the Friday, December 5, 2025 deadline as well. Some of the perks are free wire transfers, training stipends to attend CU-related conferences, getting involved in policymaking for the CU's continued growth, and many others.
