To skip your loan payment for April 2026, simply complete the Skip-a-Payment Request Form*.

  • A small processing fee of $35 applies per loan

  • Skipping a payment extends your loan term and changes your final payment amount

  • Interest continues to accrue during the skipped month


Please note: This offer is available only to members in good standing (at least six months of payments on each loan, no delinquency, and no overdraft limit exceeded).

*There is a minimal processing fee of $35 per loan. By skipping a loan payment, interest will continue to accrue, the maturity date will be extended, and the final payment will be different. All other loan terms and conditions will remain the same. Offer limited to members in good standing, which means you have made at least six months of payments on each loan with no delinquency, you have not exceeded your overdraft limit (to include any approved privilege or courtesy pay amounts), and your loan(s) must not be past due. If you make biweekly payments, both payments for the month will be included. Any loan co-signer must also sign the Skip-A-Pay request form. Holiday loans, home equity loans, Lines of Credit loans, and VISA® credit card share not eligible; restrictions apply to loans with GAP or Mechanical Repair Coverage, the coverage will not be extended beyond the original maturity date. All deferrals are subject to GPO FCU approval. Your loan(s) must be current (have no amount past due) to accept. . May reapply in 90 days after your skip a-payment approval. Only two Skip-A-Payment requests will be approved per 12-month period.
