GPOFCU is a full-service financial institution serving employees of the Government Printing Office, GPO retirees and family members of those employees and retirees. GPOFCU also serves other select organizations and companies that sponsor GPOFCU membership as an employee/family benefit. If you are an employer and wish to offer GPOFCU as an employee benefit, fill out our Sponsor Group information sheet.

To qualify for membership in the Government Printing Office Federal Credit Union, you must be within our field of membership. The current field of membership includes:

  • Employees of the U.S. Government Printing Office
  • Employees of the GPO Cafeteria
  • Retirees of GPO
  • Employees of the Federal Maritime Commission
  • Employees of the Gonzaga College High School
  • Employees of Administration on Aging
  • Employees of Community Preservation and Development Corporation
  • Employees of Associates for Renewal in Education
  • Employees of Phoenix Park Hotel
  • Employees of Beacon Resources Corporation
  • Employees of Career College Association
  • Employees of National Hydropower Association
  • Employees and members of Edgewood Technology Advisory Board
  • Employees of Knight Protective Services
  • Members of the immediate family of any employee as listed above

If you live, work, worship or attend school in the areas of Southeast, Southwest, Northeast and most areas of Northwest Washington, DC, you are also eligible to join GPOFCU.
